My 21st attire

So I went out on Saturday the 24th of January to celebrate my 21st birthday.

All of my friends came up to the house and gave me gorgeous presents. I was not expecting the amount of things I received. Amazing friends I have.

I can't thank them enough or make a list of all the presents I got because it would be WAYYY too long.

Anyway! I wore a nude coloured dress with black lace at the hips on the side of the dress and it had a black ribbon like band around where a woman's ribs ends to show off your curves.

Can you guess how much it cost??

21st dress, Boohoo, €20.

It was €20!!! TWENTY EURO!!! (it looks nicer on. Trust me!). Now it was in the sale for this price. Reduced from €50. Definitely worth it though. So always have a look at sale items before you look at the other clothes. Something might just catch your eye.  It was from Boohoo.com (Link available here: http://www.boohoo.com/)

As one of the girls said, it looks as though it's from Lipsy London,

I got the shoes in Penneys for €18. A lot of people said to me that they looked like they were from Topshop or another more expensive shop than Penneys.

I love them because they are not too high as I am quite tall and tower over guys so I like to wear heels that are not skyscrapers all of the time, but not kitten heels either. (You should just wear dolly shoes if you are going to be wearing kitten heals because they're basically the same thing in my opinion :P).

These are the fab (non kitten heels) from Penneys.

Sleek black heels, Penneys, €18.

I added some silver and black bangles to the outfit and a bit of tan.

This is my final look! And it only cost me €38 for the dress and shoes. How amazing is that?!

I felt like a star in this dress. I'm in love with it.

I added a sparkly beaded clutch bag to this outfit and a black leather jacket. It doesn't need them, but it was very cold outside because we do live in Ireland after all and I needed something slightly warm.

Thanks for reading and shop at Boohoo.com in the sale when you can. It's fab!

Merci/Gracias/Danke...

Until next time...

Mes amis.

Afternoon tea outfit, darlings

So it's the month of January and everybody is depressed because Christmas is over.

Well, not me... because January is my BIRTHDAY MONTH!!! :D

I kicked it off with a big bang on Sunday the 18th of January,

It was afternoon teas hosted by my grand mama (I don't actually call her that) an this is what I wore for the special occasion.

Palazzo Pants €12 on sale, New Look
I wanted to wear something different yet fashionable, so I saw these on sale in New Look. They cost €12 and I wear them to special occasions and once to a 21st. Best 21st ever. They are so comfortable as well. I love the pattern on them. It makes them stand out. They also look good with flat shoes or high heels. Both of these can be seen in my previous blogs "Dressy casual night look".

Peach/light pink blazer €12, New Look

When I saw this blazer in New Look I just had to have it. I love colours and needed something for a night out. It cost €12, same as the palazzo pants above. This was on sale also. You can wear it with leather looking jeans, the pants above, jeans if going to lunch with girlfriends and anything you can think of.

Clutch bag, New Look

I got this bag as a present from one of my friends at Christmas time so I don't know how much it cost, but I saw it in New Look when I was in there the other day and they also have it in black. You would think it wouldn't go with the colour of the peach/pale pink blazer but it works. Especially because the bottom half of my outfit was a dark colour.

I wore a simple white tank top with it which brightens up the outfit in this winters month.

You could also wear some bangles or a long necklace to make the outfit pop with sparkles if you were heading out on the town, but since it was afternoon tea I decided to keep it simple.

This is my finished outfit:

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Thanks for reading dolls.

Golden Globes

On Sunday evening the 72nd Golden Globes annual event took place and as always, there was so much beauty and glamour at it.

Here are the nominations by ace courutre for the best dressed by category of colour.

Who was ace couture's best dressed, male and female? Read on to find out.

Let me know which dress is your ultimate favourite and let me know in the comments below.

Red Hot!!

Taylor Schilling wore a Ralph Lauren which compliments her skintone and body shape.

Heidi Klum wore Nick Verros and look ABSOLUTELY stunning in it for her age. I especially love the one shoulder on this dress. It looks very classic and the hint of glitter at the waist makes it.

Christine Baranski wore Posen. I chose her dress because of the simplicity of it and for her age she can definitely pull this dress off.

Kate Mara wearing Miu Miu. The belt really pulls this dress together and makes it modern.

Jane Fonda wearing a VERY sexy Versace dress. See-thru on one side. Go Jane!

Allison Williams really pulling off a long sequenced dress. Not many people can do this. Made by Armani Prive.

Beauties in Black

Amal Clooney looking elegant in Dior.

Jennifer Aniston pulling it off as always in a stunning black Saint Laurent dress.

Gina Rodriguez in this simple yet very chic black skin tight dress by Badgley Mischka. The lace at the end of the dress makes it look elegant.

Liberty Ross wearing another skin tight dress. What makes this different from Gina Rodriguez's dress is that it has a little train and square on top instead of the sweetheart neckline.

Frances O' Connor wearing a puffed out dress yet very stylish top of the dress.

White Angels

Julia Louis-Dreyfus (woman crush) wearing a very simplistic but stunning dress for her figure. Designer is Narciso Rodriguez.

Emily Blunt wearing Michael Korrs. Love the simple detail of the cross accross the chest.

Kate Hudson (another woman crush) wearing Atelier Versace and looking STUNNING. Loving the design of the dress. See skin but not too much, therefore classic.

Salma Hayek wearing Alexander McQueen and this material looks like it might not work well in a dress, but it does and she certainly pulls it off.

Felicity Huffman pulling off a gorgeous knee length white dress with sexy slits down the side which makes it work for the Golden Globes.

Gorgeous in Green

Conchita Wurst wearing a fab waistcoat dress. Even though this is a man, he looks fab in this dress. (except for the beard. :P)

Shaun Robinson looking stunning in a fitted dress with simple detail and the colour compliments her skintone.

Metallic

Jennifer Lopez wearing Zurhair Murad and looks absolutely stunning as always.

Kate Beckinsale in Ellie Sab. Love the sparkle of the top part of the dress and the simplicity of the end. Works well together.

Diane Kruger looking memorizing in this dress by Emilia Wickstead.

Behati Prinsloo wearing a crop top and long skirt, yet it amazingly looks elegant because of the colour and not too sparkly. Designer is Kaufmanfranco.

Jessica Chastain always chooses the best dresses to suit her figure and she has slammed it this year. Definitely one of her best dresses on the red carpet so far. She is wearing Versace.

Blue Beauties

Amy Adams looking curvelicious in Versace. The colour blue really suits her skintone and hair colour.

Maria Menounos looking spectacular in this sequenced dark blue dress.

Katherine Heigl Looking spectaculare and I mean spectacular in this Zac Posen dress. She really wear that dress with sexiness.

Julia Goldani Telles wears a beautiful royal blue silk dress with an unusual design which works well. Fab!

Pretties in Pink

Chrissy Teigen wearing Zuhair Murad. Loving the lace. Really compliments her figure.

Camila Alves pretty in pink wearing Monique Lihuiller. Loving the cropped part of the dress, Makes the dress fab but chic.

Giuliana Rancic wearing slightly pink gown. The only part I do not like about this is the ruffles. If the dress did not have the ruffles, it would be much nicer.

Monochrome

Katie Cassidy

Emma Stone going bold but very beautiful this year wearing a jumpsuit by Lanvin.

Quvenzhané Wallis looking adorable in Giorgio Armani. Loving the colour blocking and the belt pulls the dress together.
